IExplorer

Like its Ford namesake,the Microsfot Internet Explorer crashes with the simplest of codes:

<html>
<form>
<input type>
</form>
</html>

Let’s hope that this post doesn’t crash this thing!
And despite all the commentary at Marks site,well,it is certainly a bug when a thing that is designed to receive HTML crashes everything just because a weird combination. Makes you think about the procedires and shortcuts taken on the deisgn –and the possibility of exploiting more of those for hacking purposes.
Testing this with Opera,the browser simply laughs and keeps on. Interesting.
UPDATE:Since I forgot to use the proper way of posting this,it actually interpreted the code instead of displaying it. Sorry for the crashed browsers!

    Is there a download or software program that I can use to fix registry/explorer problems?
    Thank you.

    I keep getting a message that the iexplorer is closing on me. I don’t know what it does or what to do about this

  • That was the point of his post,to illustrate the seriously instability of IExplorer.
    However,you may go to Menu > Tools > Update ,and install all the critical patches and updates.
    Good luck:that usually takes a couple hours.

    I have this problem too.
    But how can I go Menu>Tools>Update?
    I just crashes.

  • OK. Time for serious action. Do not open the link on this post. Check,on the menu,where it says Tools. Click that. Select the option that says Windows Update,and follow the instructions.
    Any time you have to update Internet Explorer,you have to perform those actions.

    After updating Internet Explorer,go to http://www.mozilla.org,and download Firefox or Mozilla. Install those,and only use these from now on. Problem solved.

  • I always get this message;Iexplorer has performed an illegal connection and must close.When you close it ,it crashes everything.You have to restart the pc.
