I guess it’s like anything else, you have to get past the grandiose connotations so get at the real meaning.

Gwen, you are so absolutely right. Being corageous implies the existence of a threat, and facing that fear.

Mary Daly says, “• Courage is like — it’s a habitus, a habit, a virtue: you get it by courageous acts. It’s like you learn to swim by swimming. You learn courage by couraging.” What if it’s not harder? Not harder than swimming. Or doing dishes? Or taking six steps toward 1600 steps up a mountain.

Nice blog. Found it randomly because I also take odd comfort in the postmodern poetry of some spam.
