Just finished watching The Princess Bride. After all the analysis and the ironicallyintellectual perception of the movie,it is just a good story,one that tells about morals,hope,and values. And a happy ending.

I am feeling like a fossil,trying to explain why is it that this movie is worth watching! Although campy,and almost painful in its simplicity,it is also powerful –the themes,the emotional load,the idealistic setting:it teaches just as an old grandpa would,teasingly,patiently,honestly,lovingly.
You don’t have to feel like a fossil,or think that you should explain people why you like the movie. It’s an awesome movie,and you just made me watch it again. It’s in my DVD collection.

Ohh and I wouldn’t worry about feeling like a fossil because of the Princess Bride,lol when I asked my 5yr. old cousin if he had ever seen Wiley Coyote and the Roadrunner on cartoons he informed me that they don’t show that one anymore because it’s really old,but not to worry there are much better cartoons now lol.
